SAMUEL ABOAH – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Samuel Aboah studied economics and econometrics at Princeton University. He has had postgraduate training in the IT field in 5 countries and supervised projects of this nature for more than eighty occasions. He is a member of the World Bank Advisory Committee for Africa on Environmental Information Systems and also a United Nations Fellow and expert on the dissemination of Computer based satellite technology in Africa. Apart from being a member of five Corporate Boards, Mr Aboah also serves on the Governing Council of the University of Ghana and chairman of the standing negotiating committee of all public universities in Ghana.


KWAME GYEKE-AMOAKO - DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mr. Gyeke-Amoako has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology with 30 years of working experience in various Computer Environments in Ghana and the United Kingdom. As Project Manager, Mr. Amoako would co-ordinate the entire implementation of the installation, training and after sales programs.

Mr. Amoako has served as Data Processing Manager for the State Gold Mining Corporation and Juapong Textiles Ltd. and was responsible for the design and implementation of Novell Network Systems for the two Organizations. He also headed Sambus' team that installed and maintained the Network System for the World Bank sponsored IPPD Project, which is designed to capture personnel data for the entire civil service. He has attended several training courses in implementation of card programmes and IT integration


MR SAMUEL LARBI DARKO - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr. Darko has a Masters Degree in Integrated Map and Geo-information Production from ITC, Enschede in Holland and a first degree in Geodetic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi – Ghana. His speciality is Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing. He was the first certified ARC-INFO Licensed instructor in West Africa and has been responsible for the company’s Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing business, He has installed ArcInfo and Erdas software and taught Arc Info software in many organizations both within and outside Ghana.Until joining Sambus in 1995, Mr Darko was in charge of the Digital mapping section of the Survey Department of Ghana where he worked for ten years undertaking different kinds of survey and mapping assignments.


GEOFFREY ASIEDU – TECHNICAL SUPPORT SYSTEM (TSS)

Geoffrey is a graduate of Ecole Normale Superieure de L'ensignment and holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Maintenance. He has fifteen years of experience on the field as he has worked with Centre for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Services and SCOA, Land Commission, RSAU at the University of Ghana. He was also the Systems Administrator for Ghana Environmental Resource Management Project at the Soil Research Institute (CSIR). Geoffrey has received various training in the IT field including Networking and Server systems with Hewlett Packard in South Africa.


LOUIS DARKO – SENIOR MANAGER (GIS APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST)

Mr. Darko is Graduate of ITC Enschede in Holland holds a Diploma in Cartography, and a Certificate in INFORMATION SYSTEMS MODULES 1 & 2. Including intensive training in ARC/INFO & Data Sources, Data Bases Organisation and Planning & A Five Weeks Practical Training Period – KAMPSAX OVERSEAS TRAINING - COPENHAGEN, DENMARK. His speciality is Geographical Information System (Applications). He is an ESRI AUTHORIZED INSTRUCTOR (Introduction to ArcInfo (I & II) for ArcView 9, ArcEditor 9 and ArcInfo 9) in West Africa and head of the GIS department of the Company since 1999. Before joining the Company Mr. Darko had worked with the Lands Commission for 21 years and rose to the range of Asst. Chief Technical Officer and also head of the GIS Department.


ALEX HUTTON-MILLS – SENIOR MANAGER (Business systems)

Alex H. Mills is a product of Accra Technical Training Center, and holds a certificate in office machines, repairs and servicing with a total work experience of 18 years. As the head of department he coordinates all repairs and maintenance activities of office equipment.


ASARE BOATENG - SYSTEMS SUPPORT/BRANCH MANAGER – KUMASI OFFICE

Mr. Asare Boateng is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Degree in Computer Science. Mr.Boateng specialises in Microsoft products and has undertaken all the system courses in Microsoft and HP networking. He is currently the branch manager for Sambus Kumasi Office.


VICTOR KWAKU ANKOBIAH (SENIOR MANAGER GPS/ERDAS/GIS)

Mr.Victor Ankobiah is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with BSc. in Geodetic Engineering. Has had various training at Ordnance Surveys in GIS/GPS as well as Erdas Imagine at Heerbrug, Switzerland. Currently a certified Trimble Certified Trainer. Has a wide range of experience in surveying and mapping with the use of GPS since 1986.The product manager for ERDAS IMAGINE and TRIMBLE GPS as well, providing support for GIS sales and implementation.


BERENGER AGUISSI - ENGINEER

Berenger Aguissi is a devoted man in the Information Technology (IT) field with Hewlett-Packard (HP) enterprise solutions specialization. He has climbed up the ladder top of HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer Certification in the middle of 2006 with the following options: Storage Area Network (SAN) Architect:- Data Availability.

He is an accredited presales consultant – HP storage works and has technically worked extensively of the implementation and the support of large telecommunication, finances and government based data centers such as: Ghana Telecom Enterprise backup solution implementation; PUFMARF (Public financial management reform program), Ghana data centre technical implementation etc… he has also travelled through different places in West Africa to execute technical action plans provided HP to solve enterprise customers problems.

He is in his 6th year experience in IT and has a strong background through a training provided in Hewlett-Packard in France in 2003 that awarded him with a title HP Multi-User, HP UNIX product environment certified.


OTHER ENGINEERS

In addition to this group there are seventeen (12) Software and Hardware Engineers on Sambus permanent staff. Sambus has a combined working experience in excess of hundred years amongst its staff to support projects.
